Behind the image

Reality isn’t always what we show...
Over the past few years, I’ve realized that a lot has changed… Social media has become a showcase displaying only polished, fake images of a very different reality. At the same time, we claim to want to break the taboos around mental health and social issues, but on the other side, we hide behind filters, misleading video edits, and beautiful facades without substance…
I find it unfortunate that we don’t use this wide-open window of visibility more to help society move in a better direction. I wish there was more truth, more naturalness. I wish we could normalize the simple things in life: wrinkles, bags under the eyes, and having a totally messy tuft of hair. That’s life! We need to stop making people believe we paint wearing fancy clothes, come on! Everyone knows it’s fake, a big lie — but “the image is beautiful.” Exactly, it’s just an image!
There are so many examples like this in the digital world… it pushes away the true beauty, the beautiful truth.
Because authenticity can’t be filtered — it’s lived in the real.
So here I am, showing you my reality in the studio! A real, honest photo! :)
Wishing you a week full of authenticity!
