I stand at the edge of the cliff,
Knowing that one day, I will jump.
But fear is so strong—it holds me back.
I imagine what lies on the other side,
I think of all that I could gain,
Yet the unknown frightens me and keeps me still.
Before I leap, I pray—
That I may be protected, that I may be blessed;
That, on the other side, I may find what I’ve been missing,
What I’ve been searching for all along.
