Learning slowly to listen to myself. Starting to honor my own needs. Setting boundaries, finally.

Saying no, head held high. Believing that I am right to assert myself.

No longer accepting everything. No longer enduring everything out of love for others and from a lack of love for myself.

This work is not gentle. It is necessary.
